I am a self-taught mosaic artist born in Italy. The art of mosaic is therefore in my blood. It is a very tactile type of art. One does not simply want to look at it but also to touch it, to feel the different textures of the material used; it stimulates the senses by the way it reflects the light. The world around me provides me with the forms, shapes, patterns and colours for my designs and the material provides me with the means to express them. Mosaic art also requires particular skills such as patience, care for details, full attention and these are intrinsic characteristics of my personality. For me, mosaic art means relaxation and mindfulness; something that it is very dear to me.
