From people to flowers – I paint living things. I am an established portrait painter and teacher with a studio in Wood Green. I have recently created a new collection of paintings entitled ‘Flora and Fauna’. In each of these works I focus on the floral life in a small section of a typical English Garden. These paintings invite the viewer to take a closer look at the natural world. Every leaf, every stem and every flower is unique – an infinite variety of movement, shape, subtle hues and light and shade.
In recent years I have been shortlisted for the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize and my work has also been selected for exhibition with The Royal Society of British Artists, The Royal West of England Academy and The Society of Women Artists.
