Caroline Elliott

I am a North London Printmaker and Visual artist, working in response to the writings and sensibilities of Robert MacFarlane, Nan Shepherd and other writers and poets with deep Nature and the Wild at the heart of their works.

Examining remote aspects of landscapes, the overlooked, the undervalued, the near extinct, offers subject matter that is based on endangered elements in differing types of landscapes: Copses, Forests, Woods, Wild meadows, Bogs and celebrates the ancientness and diversity of the landscapes.

I currently prints with collographs, block printing and photopolymer working with layer upon layer of printing methods to represent the layers of time, seasons, history, place and growth.
