Caroline Elliott

I am a Printmaker and Visual artist, working in response to the writings and sensibilities of Robert MacFarlane, Nan Shepherd and other writers and poets with deep Nature and Wild at the heart of their works. Examining remote aspects of landscapes, the overlooked, the undervalued, the near extinct, offers subject matter that is based on endangered elements in differing types of landscapes: Copses, Forests, Woods, Wild meadows, Bogs and celebrates the ancientness and diversity of the landscapes.

I sketch and paint artwork in locations and print with collographs and block printing and other printing methods, layering images, in part, to represent the layers of time, season, history, place and growth.

Also at Crouch End Picturehouse, 165 Tottenham Lane N8 9BY
