As an artist I work primarily using photography and printmaking. My photographic work is often digital, but also experimenting with different analogue and alternative photographic processes. I am fascinated by the way light changes and enhances the world around us and I am always looking for that special image. I often use my garden as a darkroom and experiment with alternative processes, cyanotype, and chlorophyll printing, which require long exposures to produce beautiful images of natural objects. I am also experimenting with etching and the way some of my images can be transformed by the use of the medium. I am still working collaboratively, collecting stories and images of objects to learn more about people and ‘Shoe String stories’ are still being gathered to make a book.
