Lizzie Hale first trained as a musician and later graduated with an honours degree in Fine Art at the University of Hertfordshire. Her work is mostly in oil but drawing is important, and inspiration comes from the Suffolk landscape and surrounding river estuaries .Paintings evolve from sketches done en plein air and developed in the studio. The start of a painting is usually figurative but becomes more abstract as line and colour dictate. Other work is a series of collages using sketches of musicians rehearsing. Lizzie exhibits with Tripod Gallery at the Affordable Art Fairs, Highgate Art Fair and Fresh Art Alexandra Palace. Her work has been sold widely to private collectors here and abroad.
