My practice is informed by my everyday. With a focus on the familiar, my work draws attention to the hidden, overlooked and the ostensibly ordinary, without judgment. This painting is part of an ongoing series of works exploring ideas around place, space and location in my urban environment.
I trained in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and since then have participated in the Turps Banana Correspondence and Offsite programmes as well as the ESOP to develop my painting practice. My work has been exhibited nationally and was long listed in the Jackson’s Painting Prize 2020, the John Moore’s Painting Prize 2020 and the Mother Art Prize 2020 and has been selected for numerous group shows including at Lido Stores, Margate and Irving Contemporary, Oxford.
