Jeremy is a self-taught artist, now painting mainly in acrylic and in a naturalistic style. He specialises in landscape and townscape painting, particularly of local scenes in and around Crouch End, Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace, contrasting the vibrant urban scene with the traditional architecture of the area. He is also a keen cyclist, and many of his paintings have been derived from sketches and snapshots taken while out and about on his bike.
Jeremy has been a member of the Crouch End Open Studios Group since 2019, exhibiting very successfully with this Group; and has also exhibited with other CEOS members at the “Random IV” group exhibition. He has exhibited with Candid Arts in Islington, and, much further afield, has held a one-man show in France, showing paintings of his favourite ski-resort in the Southern French Alps. He has received several commissions to paint favourite views or buildings.
