Formally trained, I have a 1st Class Honours BA in Ceramics from University of Westminster. I have now been working with clay for over 30 years whilst living and working in Crouch End and bringing up my three children.
I make abstract sculptures whose forms reference landscape, the body and emotions as they push and move and grow into space. Working with coils of clay I use the material as a form of communication and expression.
My work is now exhibited widely in over 20 galleries both here in the UK and abroad.
Ceramics is both my passion and my full-time job. To aid in this I teach ceramics and I also make wheel thrown tableware. I have designed and made collections of tableware that were sold in Conran, Heal’s and Tate Britain.
