I primarily use photography and printmaking to create my work. Observation is a key element and a need to capture unique images presented to me by life and events. Nature inspires much of my analogue photography and printmaking. I often use my garden as a darkroom to experiment using the sun to create Cyanotype, Lumen and Chlorophyll prints.
I enjoy working collaboratively, collecting stories and images of objects to learn more about people. This year I have been concentrating on this work photographing groups of neighbours 5 years on after COVID and am about to discover more about our passion for shoes through a project photographing shoes and collecting stories about them and then combining text and photography to create my final images. Shoes and people are my focus for 2026.
I have exhibited my work widely nationally and internationally: The Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, France and Japan. I have work in collections in Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Norway.
