A Royal College of Art graduate, Nancy Slonims worked at Pentagram and John Brimacombe & Co. as a senior graphic designer before becoming a freelance illustrator represented by Beint & Beint. Nancy’s clients include Design Groups, Advertising Agencies and Publishers. Having stepped down as Programme Leader of the BA Hons Illustration course at Middlesex University in 2024, she recently illustrated the 2025 summer catalogue for Longborough Festival Opera. Alongside her professional practice as a collage/photo-montage illustrator, Nancy has been interested in investigating a visual interpretation of collage through printmaking. Nancy’s starting point was a series of silkscreens, the layers of ink echoing the collage process, more recently she have been experimenting with Photo-etching on to digital, found and collaged material.
