I am a fine art printmaker. My prints explore our relationship to wildlife and nature, reflecting my passion for the natural environment in a world dominated by human society. I draw on memory and imagination, as well as direct experience of the natural world, to generate the images for my prints. I make my prints individually by hand. I make small runs of my prints, often with individual variations, and some are unique works of art. I specialise in combining lino cut, with its clear, strong, graphic qualities, with the more unusual technique of lino etching, which offers greater creativity of expression and looser mark making. I love experimenting with colour, transparency and texture and combine print with other media such as watercolour and collage. I am a Print Associate and print tutor at the Art Academy (an independent fine art school near London Bridge).
